Costume/Dance Wear Details

Dear Parents,

You are responsible for making sure your dancer has ALL tights, shoes, hair nets, accessories, etc.  5678 Dance Wear and The Dance Shop have all of the supplies needed.  

Notes:
• No Glitter or glitter spray
• No Jewelry (no earrings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, rings, etc)
• No fingernail polish (clear or colored)
• If hair is in a bun, it must be tightly secured with NO LOOSE HAIR. Use product and hairspray to secure hair completely.
• Please tuck all elastic drawstrings into shoes.

Role: Party Girl/Boy
GIRLS:
Hair: Shoulder length or shorter curled hairpiece to cover bun.
Makeup: Heavier version of street makeup. Foundation, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow (No blue or green eye shadows. Please use brown/beige hues.) blush, powder. Older girls should wear false eyelashes.
Dancer Provided Undergarments: “Nudie” (flesh colored leotard to be worn under costume)
Costume: Party dress, white pantaloons, hairbow
Tights: Ballet Pink Tights ( 2 yr to Ballet 3 – Body Wrappers Footed Child C80/Adult A80 or BW Transition Tights Child C81/A81, Ballet 4 and Above – Body Wrappers Seamed Transition Tight Child C45/Adult A45)
Shoes: Black ballet slippers

BOYS:
Hair: Short period style hair cut.
Makeup: Light foundation if needed, light eye shadow, brown eye liner, eyebrow pencil, blush/bronzer, light lip color
Undergarments: White tights or knee length white socks
Costume: Party boy knickers, white shirt, and vest
Tights: Boys – white tights
Shoes: Black jazz shoes

Role: Mice

Hair: Bun.

You will need to purchase a white unitard from 5678 Dance Wear or The Dance Shop.  Place  your child’s name in the tag with a Sharpie and turn into your teacher so that we may dye them for the mouse costume. Style # TB114C (Child Size)
