Nutcracker Cast – Greeting Guests After Performances
We are excited for our upcoming Nutcracker performances at IM Terrell and look forward to the special moments our dancers will share with family and friends.
To help everything run smoothly, please note the following guidelines regarding when dancers may come out to greet guests after the shows:
Friday, December 19 – 7:00 PM Performance
Dancers may come out to greet family and friends after the performance.
• All dancers must be backstage and out of costume by 9:00 PM.
• We are contractually required to be completely out of the building by 10:00 PM. If we are not, the theatre charges significant overtime fees. Any family causing delays past 10:00 PM will be billed directly for the overtime.Saturday, December 20 – 2:00 PM Performance
Dancers may also come out to greet guests after this matinee performance.Saturday, December 20 – 7:00 PM Performance
Dancers will not be able to come out after this performance. All first act costumes are loaded onto the truck during intermission, and after the final show we must pack and load the remaining costumes and sets immediately. There is no time for dancers to leave backstage.
We encourage families to take advantage of the Friday evening and Saturday matinee opportunities to visit with dancers, take photos, and celebrate their hard work. Thank you for supporting our cast by helping us follow these rules and ensuring a smooth and timely exit from the theatre.

- Submission of this form does not guarantee placement.
- All volunteer roles are filled at the discretion of North Central Ballet staff based on production needs, past experience, and reliability.
- Assignments may be changed or revoked at any time if expectations are not met.
- Volunteers are expected to communicate respectfully with staff, dancers, and families at all times.

Alcohol Policy for Volunteers
North Central Ballet is committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and family-friendly environment at all events, rehearsals, and performances. To uphold this standard, we have a strict policy regarding alcohol use by volunteers:
- No Alcohol Consumption While On Duty: Volunteers may not consume alcohol before or during their scheduled volunteer shift. This includes all backstage, front-of-house, and event support positions.
- Alcohol Use After Volunteer Shift: If alcohol is being served at an event, volunteers may only partake in alcoholic beverages after their shift has officially ended and they are no longer acting in a volunteer capacity.
- Visible Intoxication: Volunteers exhibiting signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, impaired coordination, or inappropriate behavior, will be immediately relieved of duty and may be prohibited from volunteering at future events.
- Zero Tolerance Around Minors: As many of our volunteers work closely with children and families, we strictly prohibit any alcohol use that compromises safety, professionalism, or perception of responsibility in front of our youth participants and their families.
- Enforcement and Disciplinary Action: Failure to follow this policy may result in removal from the volunteer roster, termination of future volunteer opportunities, or removal from associated performance participation (e.g., a child’s role in a production).
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to maintain a respectful and safe environment for our dancers, families, and guests.
