This special sensory-friendly dress rehearsal of The Nutcracker invites individuals and families who benefit from a relaxed theater environment.

Guests will enjoy the complete two-act ballet in full costume and lighting. In addition, sound levels will be lowered and the house lights will stay softly lit. Audience members may move, speak quietly, or take short breaks whenever needed. As a result, everyone can enjoy the beauty of the ballet in a calm and welcoming space.

Will this be the full ballet?
Yes. North Central Ballet presents the complete two-act production of The Nutcracker in costume and lighting. Because this is our final dress rehearsal, a short pause may occur if a quick technical adjustment is needed.

Is there reserved seating?
No. All seating is general admission, so families can choose the area that feels most comfortable when they arrive. Guests may also change seats during the show if needed.

Can we leave and re-enter?
Yes. Ushers will assist guests with quiet and low-stress movement in and out of the auditorium.

Are food and drinks allowed?
Bottled water and small snacks are welcome for medical or sensory reasons.
