June tuition is due in full for all enrolled students and is not prorated because rehearsals or performances occur before the end of the month.

North Central Ballet tuition is structured over the course of the full season rather than being calculated solely according to the number of classes held in a particular month.

June Tuition Is Due in Full

All June tuition is due no later than June 1.

June tuition is not reduced, prorated, refunded, or credited because the annual production, dress rehearsals, or final rehearsals take place before the end of the month.

Tuition Is Based on the Full Season

Monthly tuition is based on the full instructional season and is divided into monthly payments for the convenience of our families.

Tuition is not calculated according to the exact number of weekly classes held in each calendar month. Some months include fewer class meetings because of holidays, scheduled closures, production rehearsals, or performance dates. Other months include five class weeks, and North Central Ballet does not charge additional tuition during those months.

For this reason, tuition remains the same from month to month and is due in full through the completion of the season.

The Annual Production Is Part of the Curriculum

North Central Ballet’s annual production is an important part of our classical ballet curriculum.

We believe students of every age deserve the opportunity to experience rehearsing and performing in a full-length ballet production. That experience—from the first rehearsal through the final performance—is an essential part of their training and one of the things that has distinguished North Central Ballet for more than three decades.

June tuition supports the instructional season, including studio rehearsals, theatre rehearsals, faculty preparation, coaching, production-week instruction, and the additional work required to bring the annual ballet to the stage.

Performance and Costume Fees Are Separate

The annual costume fee and performance fee are separate from monthly tuition.

These fees are intended to offset only a small portion of the expenses associated with the annual production, including theatre rental, technical production, lighting, sound, costumes, production materials, and additional faculty payroll.

The performance fee does not cover the full cost of producing the annual ballet and does not replace June tuition.

North Central Ballet has intentionally kept these fees as modest as possible and has not passed the full cost of the production on to participating families.

Account Requirements

All tuition and fees must be paid in full and all accounts must be current before costumes, performance tickets, fall recommendation letters, or other production materials will be released.

Students with an outstanding account balance may not participate in rehearsals, dress rehearsals, or performances until the account has been brought current.

Family Acknowledgement

This policy is communicated through North Central Ballet’s registration materials, Parent and Student Handbook, Parent Recital Guide, annual-production Participation Form, and online account communications.

By enrolling for the season and submitting the required annual-production Participation Form, families acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to the June Tuition Policy.
