Step into the story with North Central Ballet’s production of Cinderella!
Auditions will be held in Keller, Texas for dancers ages 5 and up, welcoming students from all studios across the Metroplex. This spring, experience the magic of one of ballet’s most beloved fairy tales as it comes to life on stage at The Palace Theatre in Grapevine, April 11–12, 2026.

A Community Tradition of Excellence

In 1993, North Central Ballet Artistic Director Les Jordan had a vision to create ballet productions that would be accessible to young dancers throughout the community — regardless of where they studied. His goal was to share the magic of classical ballet and to instill in students a deep respect for the art form.

More than 30 years later, that vision continues — this spring, with the beloved fairytale of Cinderella. Each year, students from studios across the Metroplex audition to be part of North Central Ballet’s professional-level performances, gaining invaluable stage experience in a nurturing, inspiring environment.

Dancers are placed according to their ability and cast in roles where they will learn, shine, and grow.

The Cinderella Experience

Being part of North Central Ballet’s production of Cinderella gives young dancers the extraordinary opportunity to perform alongside accomplished professionals, learning firsthand the artistry, discipline, and joy of bringing a classic story to life.

Participation in a ballet of this scale fosters confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships — experiences that extend far beyond the stage.

Auditions are open to all dancers in the community, ages 5 and up.
Dancers do not need to be current students of North Central Ballet.

Participation Requirements

• Each dancer must audition for the ballet. ($21.19, includes online surcharge)
• Each dancer must sell a minimum of one ¼-page ad in the performance program.
  (Cost: $135.00 / $142.00 online — perfect for family, friends, or local businesses.)
• Each dancer must sell 10 tickets at $35.00 each to the Saruday and/or Sunday performances.
  Tickets must be purchased through www.northcentralballet.com only.
• Costume rental fee: $75.00 ($78.75 online) per costume per dancer.
• Rehearsal fee: $130.00 ($136.50 online) per dancer

Advertisements and tickets are extremely easy to sell. It is our goal to keep the cost of participation as minimal as possible.

Rehearsals

• Location: North Central Ballet, Keller
• Schedule: Saturday mornings or afternoons (depending on role)
• No Sunday rehearsals until close to performance week
