2026/2027 Company Auditions & Placement Evaluations
Thank you for your interest in North Central Ballet’s 2026/2027 Student Company Program.
All dancers interested in being considered for the Student Company, Apprentice, or Trainee Program must first schedule and attend a Placement and Evaluation Class with the Company Director. Dancers ages 12-17 are eligible to participate in the evaluation process.
The Placement and Evaluation Class is designed to assess each dancer’s current technical level, strength, coordination, artistry, discipline, and overall readiness for the demands of pre-professional ballet training and performance.
Placement consideration is based upon:
- Classical ballet technique
- Pointe proficiency (when applicable)
- Work ethic and focus
- Artistry and musicality
- Physical readiness and placement
Dancers wishing to be considered for the Student Company or Apprentice divisions must be proficient in classical ballet and pointe work. Trainee applicants are not required to be en pointe.
