We created The Gentle Nutcracker so every child can experience the wonder of live performance. This sensory-friendly show offers softened lighting, lowered music, and a stress-free atmosphere where families can move, talk, and support their children’s needs without judgment. A Calm Zone with sensory items and quiet activities is available throughout the evening. It’s the full magic of The Nutcracker—made thoughtfully and beautifully inclusive.

Step Into the Magic of The Nutcracker

North Central Ballet’s Nutcracker Ballet Camp Fort Worth invites young dancers ages 3–7 to twirl, leap, and dream their way through the enchanting world of The Nutcracker.
Over three magical mornings, children will explore the story of Clara, the Sugarplum Fairy, and the Nutcracker Prince through dance, storytelling, and creative crafts. This festive winter camp is the perfect way to introduce ballet basics while keeping the holiday magic alive.

Each day features themed lessons, hands-on crafts, and character activities — all leading up to a special in-studio performance for family and friends on the final day!

Girl Scouts Nutcracker Performance — Special Matinee & Tea Party

Dedicated Girl Scouts performance of The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 20 at 2:00 PM at IM Terrell PAC, with exclusive group pricing for troops and families. Optional Sugarplum Fairy Tea Party add-on after the show. Optional Nutcracker patches available.

Cinderella — Open Auditions for All Area Dancers

North Central Ballet invites all dancers ages 5 and up throughout the greater Fort Worth and Keller area to audition for our spring production of Cinderella. You do not have to be a current student at North Central Ballet — this opportunity is open to the entire dance community. Train under professional direction and perform on a professional stage.

Homeschool Academy — Enrollment Now Open

The Homeschool Academy offers daytime classical ballet training designed specifically for homeschool students, including Physical Education credit. Students study ballet technique, contemporary movement, conditioning, and performance preparation under experienced faculty — with a schedule that supports academic routines.

A Professional Ballet School, Singular in Focus

For more than three decades, North Central Ballet has been recognized as Northeast Tarrant County’s premier pre-professional ballet school — a place where discipline, artistry, and excellence come together in the purest form of classical training. Founded in 1993 by Leslie M. Jordan III, the school has shaped generations of dancers from Keller, Southlake, Roanoke, Trophy Club, Grapevine, and beyond.

Our focus has never wavered: to teach the art and technique of classical ballet at the highest level. We are a ballet school — dedicated to developing strong, musical, expressive artists who understand both the tradition and the discipline of this timeless art form.

Students of North Central Ballet have gone on to earn scholarships and train with world-renowned institutions including the School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre, as well as major universities and professional companies across the country.
